Grocery Coupon Program
Grocery Gift Cards are a no cost way to support St. Timothy's General Fund. Currently Gift Card sales return about $5000 to St. Timothy's each year. If each pledging family purchased one $25 gift card per week over $9000 would be returned to the General Fund each year or about four times the average pledge. We say no cost because a gift card is redeemed at full face value from the Grocery Store. The cards, which we purchase at a discount, may be used for anything in the store. This includes prescriptions, lift tickets, gasoline, and event tickets.
Sunday mornings after each service, Target, King Soopers, Safeway, and Sunflower Market gift cards are available in the Narthex (early service) or in the parish hall (late service). Purchasers receive the full value ($10, $25, $50, $100, $200, or $300) of the card. Typically about $100,000 in coupons are purchased each year, netting St. Tim's about $5,000.
Get in the coupon habit; it is good for St. Tim's and you will find it's more convenient than fishing for cash or checks. Having backup volunteers would be helpful.
