Building and Grounds
This ministry includes maintenance of the church building and its contents as well as upkeep of the church grounds. The Facilities Coordinator and the Junior Warden work together on this activity in consultation with and approval of the vestry. Parish work days are scheduled at least twice a year, and a great deal of work is also done between those dates. Members frequently do minor repairs and routine maintenance to keep our building and grounds in good shape.
There is a Property Committee which meets periodically and is an invaluable part of this ministry. The committee's purpose is to assess and prioritize facility needs, plan for capital improvements, and supervise contractors. New members are welcome and are not expected to participate in routine maintenance.
