Holy Week Services

April 5 Palm Sunday Services 7:45 am & 9:45 am
A procession will begin at 9:45 am in Clarkson Park where palms are blessed. For those who do not wish to walk, please gather at the church. Nursery care provided.

April 6 & 7 Holy Eucharist 7:30 pm

April 8 Tenebrae 7:30 pm
The word ‘Tenebrae’ is Latin for shadows. The liturgy of Tenebrae is characterized by the gradual extinguishing of candles while a series of readings and psalms are chanted or recited.

April 9 Maundy Thursday 7:30 pm
Foot washing, Last Supper, Procession to the Altar of Repose. A watch will be kept through the night.

April 10 Good Friday noon & 7:30 pm
with Stations of the Cross and Seven Last Words

April 11 Easter Vigil 9:00 pm
Kindling of the new fire is at 8:30 pm. Guest Speaker: Kathy Hendricks. The service begins with candlelight readings through the Light of Christ. Baptisms may be celebrated.

April 12 Easter Masses 7:45 am & 10 am
Celebrating Holy Eucharist with Brass, Bells and Choir. Gospel drama for children during the 10 am Mass and Easter Egg Hunt afterwards. Nursery care provided.

Children are welcome at all services. Please call the office in advance for nursery care at midweek services. 303-794-1565.

Children’s Activities
During Holy Week

Palm Sunday  - Meet at Clarkson Park at 9:45, Process to the church, Young Choir sings, then go downstairs for a craft activity.

Good Friday -  Family-friendly Stations of the Cross at 7:30 pm, led by children.

Easter Sunday -  Begin the 10 am service in church, then the kids go downstairs with Rev. Michael for a Gospel Presentation.
Easter Egg Hunt follows the service.
