In the readings for January 21, we hear how God changed God's mind and decided not to punish the Ninevites, even though they were the implacable enemies of Israel. Does it bother you that the God of the Bible seems to change courses so often (see destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, replacing Saul with David, cure of the daughter of the Syrophoenician woman, etc.)?
