Let us celebrate Sunday!

From the Rector:

Dear St. Tim's family,

This Sunday we close our annual pledge campaign to meet our financial needs for the work we believe God is calling us to as the people of St. Tim's. We have heard from parishioners each Sunday over the past 5 weeks about how St. Tim's--how you!--make a difference in their lives. We have heard the stories of how we have offered ourselves to one another in care and prayer; we've heard how our life together in showing love and welcome transforms people's lives and their relationship with God; we've heard how our ministries for children and youth have created safe spaces to ask the questions of faith and deepen a relationship with Christ. The stories we've heard have been an amazing sign of your faithfulness to God and one another. I, for one, am proud to be a part of this faithful, loving, embracing, and growing community of faith. I give thanks to God for God's faithfulness to us. I give thanks for your generosity and making a pledge to our mission here at St. Tim's. If you have not made a pledge, we ask that you prayerfully consider making such a gift. There will be pledge cards in the lobby on Sunday and I hope you'll make such a commitment to our common ministry together.

And so, I'm thinking it's about time for us to celebrate together! On Sunday, Nov. 11th after the 10am service we will share in a catered meal from Rubio's Coastal Grill. You don't need to bring a thing, except an appetite and open heart. There will be plenty of food, so invite a friend, pull up a chair, and let's deepen our life together in the way Jesus loved so well--eating together! I'm looking forward to it and will see you Sunday.

God bless you and keep you,
