Youth ministry is a priority at St. Tim’s. Our active Middle School and Senior High programs stress a relationship-centered approach. St. Tim’s Youth Group is a dynamic, fun, accepting place for youth of any background or church experience. Our regular meetings take place on Sunday evenings from 6 to 8 pm (Middle School and High School meet together during that time). At our Youth Group meetings we enjoy games, activities, fellowship, bible discussions. Youth Sunday School takes place at 10 am during the school year.

You do not need to be a member of St. Tim’s to come to Youth Group. We would love to include you and any of your friends. Please contact Jeff Jentz at if you have any questions about the youth group. All youth group meetings take place downstairs at St. Timothy’s in the D-Zone.

2018 YES Mission Trips

This year our youth group will have the opportunity to participate in the following YES (Young Episcopalians in Service) mission trips:

  • Clendenin, West Virginia  June 3-9, 2018

This mission is open to high school youth (rising 9th graders with youth minister or clergy recommendation, new high school graduates are welcome). We will be doing recovery work from floods that hit this already struggling town in 2016. We are excited to be working with Next Step Ministries this year, as part of their model of long-term community development supported by short-term service travelers like us.

This service experience is budgeted at $799 per traveler (including adults). A deposit of $100 is due at registration.  Registration deadline is February 18.

  • Denver JUICE (Justice: Urban Immersive Cooperative Experience)  July 22-27, 2018

Our metro area churches are proud and excited to invite all middle and high school youth (rising 6th graders with youth minister or clergy recommendation) to our capital to learn about poverty, homelessness, and injustice in our city. This experience will combine service and outreach with education and advocacy, and the YES leadership team is very excited to bring it to Episcopal Youth in Colorado.

This trip is budgeted at $199 per youth (adult leaders are covered in the cost of the trip). A deposit of $50 is due with registration.
