Annual Worship Ministries Training Every August, ministry leaders provide worship trainings that equip members to fill various roles. We invite each of you to discern if one of these ministries calls to you in a communal and personal way.
Greeter Training for new and continuing greeters on Sunday, August 2nd, at 11:30 AM.
Lector Training for new and continuing lectors will be offered at 9 AM on Sunday, August 9th and Sunday, August 16th. These trainings are identical, offered twice: pick the one that works for your schedule.
Usher Training for new and continuing ushers on Sunday, August 16th, at 11:30 AM.
Adult Acolyte Training for new and continuing altar servers on Sunday, August 23rd, at 11:30 AM.
Youth Acolyte Training is open to rising 4th – 12th graders on Sunday, August 30th, at 11:30 AM.
Simple Summer Suppers This summer, we are continuing our Simple Summer Suppers tradition which are casual potlucks hosted in member's homes as a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other over a shared meal. Please consider participating in the following times of fellowship and fun:
A Priest and a Rabbi Walk Into a Bar… Join Rabbi Amanda and Mother Megan for a casual, interfaith happy hour near Centennial this Monday, July 13th, at 7 PM. All are invited: bring your kids, your friends, your neighbors, and join us for a pint or a non-alcoholic beverage. Bring the questions you’ve always wanted to ask clergy—we welcome conversation about both the sacred and the mundane. Register here to receive more information closer to the date.
Alpine Adventurers Hiking Group For our next hike, the Alpine Adventurers Hiking Group will be hiking the Hidden Fawn, Sisters Trail, Brother's Lookout, Ponderosa Loop in Evergreen on Saturday, July 18th. This moderate hike offers a great opportunity to enjoy God’s creation, connect with others, and get some fresh air and exercise. You can meet us at St. Tim's at 7 AM to carpool or park at the trailhead at 7:45 AM. All ages are welcome, and friends are encouraged to come along. Family Promise This summer, St. Tim’s will once again open its doors to families participating in Family Promise of Greater Denver. From Sunday, July 19th – Sunday, August 2nd, our church will become a place of welcome, rest, and support for families working toward stable housing and brighter futures. While at St. Tim’s, guests will have access to three daily meals, laundry facilities, showers, and a safe place to spend time together after busy days of work, school, and other responsibilities. Volunteers are needed to prepare meals, greet and host families in the evenings, stay overnight, assist with room preparation and cleanup, and provide transportation twice-daily to and from Family Promise’s Day Site in West Denver.
