Preparing for Courageous Conversations Having conversations about aging and dying with our loved ones takes courage and preparation. On Saturday, April 18, from 10 am to 12 noon, Join Mother Megan and Dr. Jen Evans for a workshop that normalizes anxiety and provides practical tools for engaging sensitive conversations with those we love. Register here.
Embracing Mortality Workshop Aging and dying are difficult to talk about. As a faith community, St. Tim's strives to provide a safe space for substantive conversations. Save the date for Saturday, May 2, from 9 am to 3 pm, for a series of thoughtful conversations addressing human mortality. The goal is to provide education and professional resources, equipping members and friends alike to embrace our futures with faith and hope. Open to all and free of charge, please register to help plan for hospitality and materials. Topics will include will and estate planning, senior living options, medical decision-making and funeral planning. Register here.
Confirmation and Episcopal 101 Bishop Kym will offer the sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday, May 30 at 10 am at St. John’s Cathedral in Denver. If you’re interested in being confirmed—or simply learning more about the mission, history, and organization of the Episcopal Church—join Mother Kim and Mother Megan for a 3-week Episcopal 101 series beginning Sunday, April 19, at 11:30 am after worship. All are welcome! Please email Mother Kim to sign up or learn more.
Migration Pilgrimage Join Mother Megan for a transformative pilgrimage to Tucson from August 12-17, where St. Tim's will partner with BorderLinks for an immersive experience along the U.S./Mexico border. Through visits with migrant aid organizations, churches, immigration court, and the border wall, we will learn firsthand about the complexities of migration while praying and worshiping together. BorderLinks provides programming, meals (including vegetarian options), and comfortable dorm-style lodging that accommodates mobility needs; airfare will be arranged separately once the group is finalized. Register here. To ask questions and learn more, email Mother Megan.
